The quote on the picture above ( by Franklin Roosevelt) is so inspirational to me. We, as educators, have a big responsibility to shape and mold young minds. We have such a great and wonderful task of  preparing  children  for the upcoming future. Many people do not realize that teachers play a substantial role in the initial phases of a child's life. I  strongly believe that, although we may not know exactly what the future holds, we as educators can do our best to make sure that our children are safe, and adequately prepared.

    I love this quote and believe it is very true! Who else is going to be a role model for our kids if not the parents or teachers in their lives?? Like you said in those first stages of a child's life is key when trying to prepare them for the long journey ahead.

    I love the quote you have shared. We as educators or Parents are care givers in the lives of children and that our role has to be a deliberate and positive one .

The website that I choose to review was http://www.ecdvu.org/ssa/index.php. This website was related to offering educational resources in Sub-Saharan Africa. The resource is basically a virtual school /university that caters to those who would like to pursue the field of early childhood education. This website is a valuable resource because it provides an opportunity for those who may not normally have chance to a quality higher education get educated and serve their country. The website offers courses in professional leadership, child development, and the principles and practises of early childhood education. There is also a news letter on the website that showcases some of the happenings that are taking place with the students of ECDVU. This website is extremely valuable and useful to promote learning for educators and their future students.
